Western Horse Bridles

what is the difference in english and western Bridles?
I thought they were the same, but I don’t have much experience with that kind of stuff. Where I ride, they keep all the horses’ bridles in the English Tack room (each horse has its own Bridle) just because there’s more room in there, haha. Most horses can be used for english AND western, and they use the same bridle no matter if they’re riding english or western. So is there a difference?
Often times, a western bridle will be made from thicker leather, and will be lacking a noseband. Things like conchos, and designs carved into the leather are common.
English bridles are often more subtle, and have a noseband. They usually look more simple that a western bridle, so there’s more attention on the face of the horse, not the bridle itself.
